I have changed the batteries in the remote and still the doors won't lock and the engine won't turn over. resetted the battery, jumpstart, tried all, checked fuses, checked all of the visible area. Car key won't go turn. don't know what happened. Need help...

You can open it with the blade key
and lock it also. But from the symptoms it really sounds like a dead battery.
Jumping a high cca battery like the one in your model won't hack it. You either need to charge it overnight with the key out(please)
or check the battery condition on load but I take odds it is dead.Key won't turn if battery is kaput.Even if the remote battery is good the key gets its power for the starting sequence from the car battery not the key battery.
put it on a 10 amp charger overnight
use the charging post located on the drivers side next to the engine and a good neg contact point.

Oh and in a jam
with the battery never tow it to the dealer,if you must get dealer service involved in a pinch call mb roadside they will come to you check the battery and install a new one(albeit at a preimum price)with no labor charge.
Roadside assistance is free to all Mercedes owners for life. And that includes non original owners as well.

Car battery is
completely dead. Will not even take a charge.Pull it out or have someone with a multimeter check it for voltage and then replace.
Lots of options pep boys, sams club,mb roadside, some costcos, just make sure it is the same group vented battery and that the vent tube is hooked up.
Mb roadside will confirm and a battery installed by their roadside service is about $150.They will check the whole system.

Was the key dropped recently?
Retracting the steering lock is one of the first steps in the DAS secruity handshakes that occurs when the key is inserted.
Certain it is in P? Will the shifter move down to N?

You have me stumped
The only other thing I can think of is the ignition interlock is broken. Most likely time to find an indie shop that does mercerdes and has an sds reader so theey can check the systems.
Sorry
you can get it out of park and try to start in neutral by following the direction in your manual for stuck in park.

I think you simply have a dead key. It has happened to me; drove over to relatives, turned the car off and locked it. After like 15mins when I came back my key was dead, replacing the batteries inside the smartkey didn't do anything. Even with empty key-batteries the ignition should still accept the key via infrared, my key was DEAD. I had to walk back home to get my wife's key and that was fine. Dealer ordered a new one, cost me €350,-
Ohlord; he says he has only ONE key. Only a dealer can solve this by towing the car to the shop, read the key-codes with stardiag and ordering new key(s)...it'll cost an arm and a leg though!

He can go to the dealer with
his proof of ownership title and I.D. and they read the vin and order a programed key. No need to go to dealer with the car or tow it to the dealer.

- they readout the car to get the keycodes and try to clear the spot the defective key was taking, a maximum of 7 keys can be 'mated' to the car so it's always best to try and free up any no more used spots.
- they ordered the key
- once the new key came in, they needed the car again to 'mate' it with the new key
Total cost around €350,-
So did they con me or what?!
