GLK 350 2012 Pano Sunroof Problems
I've had my GLK 350 for less than a month and recently noticed that my sunroof doesn't close all the way. I have an appt tomorrow for it to be checked. Please see attached photos & tell me what you think?

Wow, that is strange! Hopefully you get better luck with your GLK! Please post the results and what happened! I have yet to open my sun roof yet (thanks Canadian winters!) but now I am curious.....

I looked all over for the canvas/sunroof closure thread and nothing came up when I did the search. Sorry about the dup thread. If mine is normal I'll be shocked b/c I had a 2012 GLK 350 I got in December 2011 and it was not like that...had full closure and also the back part of mine has a bow just around the center of the closure. I never opened it until I noticed it not appearing to be closed all the way. That was a week after I got it. Taking it in today to check it out...will post what they say.

UPDATE...The service man after inspecting the canvas closure said the front is okay, said several on their lot they viewed to compare was the same, however, the back is defective in a way that it's sagging in one area. They believe one or more of the clips may have come unclipped. So I have to bring it back March 6th and leave it for them to fix it. I'll update you all after that visit.
They also said they will give me a loaner car, anyone has experience with their loaners? What type of vehicle will they loan me?

To elaborate. My little dealer in Tyler, TX is part of a larger Toyota dealership. Their loaners are usually Toyotas. Makes you appreciate your M-B. The dealer I visited last week in Houston has a rather large fleet of C-Class sedans as loaners. If all of those are out you get something else. Regardless, you get a car. Enjoy.
Now I need to go look at my sunroof cover. It seems to be tight and closing all the way.

All dealers are different. You will get a working car.

Glad your sunroof closes tight, I think they all should. Thanks for the loaner information.

Our local dealer has C-class sedans and GLKs for loaners. Seems like a win-win situation for them as it's a good form of marketing...I know some other MB owners that decided to buy a C, GLK or even E based on their experience with the loaners (most already had an S, M or GL).

Wow that would be nice. I almost purchased a C250 but decided on the GLK350. Thanks for your input.
