GLK350 and Bluetooth - please help!

I just picked up my glk but I can't get my blackberry 8310 to connect to it? How do I do it? Then - how do I transfer all of my contacts. Please help - I was excited to do this and now I'm getting frustrated!!!!

Thanks for your help. Do you know if they'll be able to help me if I'm in Canada? Thanks again!

Why not read the user manual? If you follow the instructions accurately, it should be fine with your Blackberry too. Actually it should be intuitive enough if you have paired your phone with another device with a display and keypad before (the case where you enter the pairing code at each device).

Thanks but I did read the user manual. There is not much information at all when it comes to the pairing up the bluetooth. I'm going to keep trying - but not quite sure what else to do. The phone is compatible but the signals are not finding each other....

Can't offer much technical help, but I took my phone to the Dealership when I picked up my GLK on Tuesday and they paired-up my bluetooth phone for me as part of their delivery service.

You have to use not only the instructions for the BT device, but also the BT pairing instructions that came with your phone. They usually involve setting the phone to Bluetooth function, and entering the Bluetooth device code on the phone keypad (in the U.S. it's MBUSA; it should be on the back of your puck, if your system uses one; otherwise it will be in the MB Bluetooth pairing instructions).

Actually you do not mention if you are using the integrated BT HF from the head unit or if you have the comfort telephony option.

In any case the head unit should have a separate user manual as well as the comfort telephony adapter.

If you are using the head unit, select the phone menu and the bluetooth menu, let the device search for BT devices (have BT active on your phone and visible for other devices), once your head unit finds your phone, select it and activate pairing. You get a screen where you enter your own code (put e.g. four digits) and shortly your phone should ask you to confirm the pairing, enter the same digits you did at the car head unit.

You should allow automatic connections from your phone (read the phone manual) and you may need to download the phonebook too (from the head unit menu for that function).
