How do I remove door panel
#3
I have a single door ding on my car... Right Rear about 8" below the window sill. I would like to lower the window and get in there from behind to tap out the dent, but am concerned about messing up the airbags, etc. So I would like to know this procedure, too.

I would suggest contacting one of the paintless dent repair guys in your area. You probably have Dent Wizard in your area, and you can frequently find guys that work for them to do little stuff like this on the side. They will not need to remove the door panel and it will take less than 15 minutes. Should be under $50. I had them do my wifes BLACK car that had been in a hail storm and it saved $3000. You can not tell anything was ever there, plus it does not need to be repainted.

I think on your car you have to pull the plastic from underneath the armrest, and you will find 2 screws there. Then just try to pop the plastic clips out from around the panel

There are 2 more screws on the door lock. When all of these screws are out the door unclips from the bottom up and then the top edge is resting in the window rubber. This comes out vertically. The window should be down.
You then either unclip the window button or pop the button out. You will raise the window but the real challenge is to remove the dust cover without destroying butyl bead that holds it on.
Then you will have clear access.

If you've never removed a dent before...I wouldn't touch it. You could end up doing more damage. I would call one of those paintless dent repair guys.
One wrong move...and you WILL have to repaint!
