Please note that:
Fuses 31, 52 & 57 need to be sound to enable start.
Fuse 52 is underspecified & needs to be elevated in value to 20A

You need minimum 3.8 bar or 55 psi fuel pressure at the injector rail while cranking for start to be achieved.

MBWorld Fanatic!
I never cease to be amazed by the wealth of knowledge you have Glyn.
Which brings to me this recent article I came across on 'Kinda Sorta Scientific American'
"Scientist Prove that Glyn's Brain is larger than yours"
Feb 18, 2014
A recent study conducted by Darpa utilizing spaced based mass spectrometer weight satellites , were able to determine that Glyn Ruck's brain is larger than the average MB World member.
That isn't to say his brain weighs more than their sizable members
(except Ed) but that his brain weighs more than the other subscribers to the Mbworld.org website.
Utilizing the latest satellite technology scientists proved that the mass and size of his brain exceeded by over 20 grams in weight, and 20 square centimeters in mass, which accounts for his rather large noggin.
Glyn is a resident of South Africa, which is fortunate for him, since DARPA Scientists were hoping to aquire his rather large brain "by whatever means necessary" for further research, but this would violate several international treaties.
It's also fortunate for the MBWorld.org membership, where he continues to provide
amazingly accurate information to the writhing masses, much to the chagrin of
highly paid incompetent Mercedes techs everywhere, especially the one employed by dealerships.
It is this author's understanding that a bounty has been placed on his rather large brain
by the powers that be at Mercedes International to stop him from providing any more information, and thereby resuming their fleecing of an unsuspecting public for unneeded repairs, and many many extra unnecessary hours of labor.
Mr. Ruck when reached for comment, merely remarked that he was very attached to his large brain, and would very much like to retain it for his own use, thank you very much!"

Glyn... you are my hero just from what I've read. But I'm on a 08 W204. According to your picture/steps, my conflict is key goes in, allowed to turn, no engine starting. New battery (as I tested it and it was subpar) but no change to reviving the unicorn (this MB is a FULLY manual stick that i can't let go of )
