Got X-Pipe and Muffler Delete today
First off...
Amazing sound! I smiled as soon as the car started. Its interesting how you can hear where the lack of mufflers change the exhaust note, and where the xpipe kicks in. The lack of mufflers makes idle, start, and low speed/rpm sound great up to about 3.5k where the xpipe kicks in.
At around 2.5k RPM under light throttle there is an INTENSE and LOUD drone. With the windows down its not too bad. I will definitely be putting some magnaflow race mufflers on her before next winter when the windows have to go back up.
Excellent burble and some popping in decel/downshifts.
Also noticed cars get out of the way alot more on the way home
Thanks to Tony's Muffler in Wallington

Man, I have been debating on removing just the mufflers for a while, but decided to keep it stock because I love the quiet cabin but when you get on the gas it sounds great.

LOL. I had my mufflers removed on the day of a meet (already had xpipe removed). When we finally got there after a 40min drive I got out and started begging my friends for one of them to swap cars for the ride back. Although we hit up highway 9 on the way back (real life initial D ) and man with the windows down the exhaust note was fantastic. Needless to say my mufflers were welded back on on the 4th day.

Its nice for the first half hour, and on the occasional sunny day when your driving with the windows down with no-one around you, but otherwise its embarrassing. If my car was throwing 450hp at the wheels and was cherry red it'd be fine. Personally I always wanted a blig block so I love it, but despite to complements I get too many negative ones thrown in there. Yes during WOT is has an excellent sound. Far different than a rice burner. It is a tight german V6 and it sounds good. But under light throttle is is a little too ricey. My dad offered to pay to get my mufflers put back on because he disagrees with me that a benz should sound like that. While its a sporty car...its not an AMG. I do miss the silent cabin during highway cruising. Def keeping the X-pipe tho.

Remove secondary cats and put your x pipe there also put you stock resonater back where it was to begin with . I did this to get back the back pressure I lost after I installed my headers and it worked great and I have like 85% less drone .

I have the magnaflow mufflers and yes between 2000 and 2500rpm it is pretty intense. But has a nice rumble to it otherwise. Mine is only mufflers. No xpipe yet. I can only imagine the muffler delete makes you wanna commit suicide when highway cruising.

I removed the mufflers on my c300 with quad tips and I have no drone at all on the highway! Not sure why everyone here is complaining? I bought the x-pipe too but decided not to install
