i'm 27 and really regret not just jumping the gun on a C63 hahaha but the C300 is always putting a smile on my face. I can't imagine if I was in a C63 I would probably sleep in the car the first week hahaha.

We've got a bunch of kids on this forum.

I'm 79 going on 25. I love driving my 2010 C300 4matic Sport especially on the winding country roads here in western Virginia and it does the Interstates very comfortably. An added bonus is it gets looks from the old chicks at the senior center parked among the usual Buicks, Camrys and Crown Vics.

That's correct, we bought my wife an old persons car :P

It does everything we need it to, without being a money pit. I would have opted for a used ISF but she felt compelled to have awd even though it rarely snows here lol. Oh well.

Bought my '13 C300 Sport when I was 36. Now 38 and eyeing up a few others for my next iteration. None of my previous vehicles compare.
20+ years ago I was in the drive through window for mcdonalds and admiring cars coming through...now it's my turn to have the car admired...lol...

I am a few months into 24, still feel within my age range. I've had the '12 C Sport for few months now, came from a '05 C240 that I owned for two years and 24k miles. Fiance is 26, she's riding in a '10 C Luxury for almost a year (I convinced her to rid of a '10 Sonata she owned for 6 months lol.) Looking at how things are developing, next one will probably be a lease in 2-3 years.

Wife and I are both 29, the C350 is her car. To be honest, I feel financially irresponsible even buying the Benz for $30k but I wanted her to have a nice car... also I'm just very fiscally conservative.

Then my friend pointed out that it was cheaper than a new mini van and I felt a little better. lol

18 bought it last year love this car just wish it was a little faster most likely why you dont see a lot of kids choosing this car but I love the looks of it and i dont have to worry about speeding tickets!! will deffinetly have an M3 or C63 depending how they look in the upcoming years

Been driving benzes since I was 18. Had the new C at 24. People call me middle aged all the time for driving a Benz. Mostly they're BMW drivers with no class, so I just ignore them.

My father has a C300 non lux/sport debadged with 18 inch amg rims and drive the **** like he stole it; S+ fast steering etc. Hes 65. I know many men above 30 who drive them proudly, but I also own a 2010 c300 luxury and MANY parents buy them for their beloved children. Either way, its the lightest and smallest sedan they make that can be very agile. Demographic for C classes is universal. My boss has an s class and hates how huge it is despite its features and power

Something that came up recently I thought was funny was someone called my wife's car a commoner300 in which I laughed. We didn't choose this car because it was all we could afford, we don't like huge sedans. Thus why she owned a heavily modified S40 Volvo prior rather than a S60R. We spent the same amount a first gen C63 cost so clearly wasn't because we are just badge whoring.

It fulfilled all of the criteria that she wanted and I approved because I think they look sexy as hell and it drove much nicer than the 335 we test drove side by side. I'm a BMW fan myself, and couldn't deny it was a plusher car over the 3 series. Power on the other hand don't compare, but she felt it was fast enough and I sold her on the prospect of a tune.

Youre correct about thte 335 being faster but the 335 isnt the same class. 325/328/330 compared to 300 will lose in each category. However a c350 is slower than a 335 everytime. By a full second if not more.

However, BMWs throttle feels like its always in tow mode. Its just sort of more rigid and zippy like an infiniti. Truly its harder to make a smoothe ride damn near as fast as the competition, than to go the next step and go past the Diminishing Return point for extra speed and lessen ride quality.

Saved up and paid in full at 21. Rare feet for someone living in New York City. I drive it every day in Manhattan and people think I am crazy but I love it. I also got a full ride to NYU and drive from class to class but that is another story.

Next step is an SLK and relocation to Southern California! Damn this economy though.

I don't know of any current or past generations where that would be even remotely true.

Talking about the best performing MY2012 the 328i does 0-60 in 5.4 and 1/4 mile in 13.9. The closest non amg, w204 sedan, is the facelift C350 that does 0-60 in 5.7 and 14.1 1/4 mile and that's with extra 2 cylinders and extra 60HP. But don't get facts get in the way of good old fashioned BMW bashing.

Won't even go into comfort driveability or MPGs.
I don't understand this constant need to compete and try to prove that somehow one is better than the other. There are different cars for different needs and tastes.

I'm 52, first Benz ever. Love cars in general, very happy with my C300 4matic. All wheel drive up here is a plus. Probably not my last MB. C Clas is a perfect size car for me.

33. Got first Benz at 31 (09 CLK350) now in a 14 C250. What's next? Most likely E or CLS in early 2017...
