My Quad Tips Install - 2012 C350
Hi All,
I know there's been a few similar posts but thought i'd share
I got the the C63 diffuser and brackets from the dealer - $230.00 tax in.
Tips were purchased through a local mod shop - $290.00
I installed the diffuser myself.
Welding/Tips Installation - $100.00
Pics below. I'm pretty happy with the result.

Thanks! A bit of advise for others; I installed the brackets only because I had bought them already. I really don't think they're necessary. Having said that, for $50.00, it's pretty good piece of mind.
The welding was done by a shop in the Markham (north of Toronto) area. He did a great job so if anyone local needs a welder, shoot me a PM and i'll get you thier info.

I was really surprised how inexpensive the diffuser parts were from MB. The parts guys at my local dealership were really interested in what I was doing. Asked me to come by once the tips were installed
I believe the "H" style (offset) tips can be purchased for a bit less as well; Especially if you go with plain (non AMG branded) tips. The plain ones i've seen look exactly the same as mine.
All and all, i'm happy. Think it's a pretty cool mod for the price.

I did the same thing as you. Except bought diffuser and tips through ebay for a little less, and bought brackets about a week later from my dealership. Not a bad price for mostly MB parts. My tips are starting to rust a little bit, however. I may try to pick up mufflers off a C63 salvage or from someone who got something aftermarket at some point.

Was fairly easy. There are 2 rivets that attach the diffuser to the bumper at each end - Once you drill those out, the diffuser can just be pulled off apart from the bumper, clip by clip. There are of course 2 bolts that hold the brackets on that are in plain view.
Search on here.. there are some good how to's. Thats where I got my info.
Also, don't be shy to give the OEM diffuser a good tug once you've got the rivets and brackets off Good luck!

The tips are likely the same. ****ty salty roads in the winter may have accelerated the process.
I posted some picture how install in this thread.

Ouch on that rust
Someone gave a tip to keep those tips waxed and it will protect them from rusting. 4 years with my aftermarket non-amg tips and no rusting.
Also question while on the exhaust. Can you put two mufflers on the 2012 C300? One on each side right before the tips come out?

Thats great to hear. Just need to make up my mind on what aftermarket muffler to use instead now. I currently have a masterflow 80 series and am very satisfied with it.
Maybe an ignorant question but why do users here install an X pipe when they go aftermarket? What is the purpose?

If one was to do both (X Pipe and Mufflers) would that be an issue?
Trying to get an aggressive sound this time

These mods are replacements, rather than adding of additional parts. The xpipe replaces the original resonator, which has some baffling. The same way you would replace your original mufflers with higher flow mufflers with less baffling for a louder sound. Doing both wouldn't be a problem.

Nice. Looks like the ebay/china h pipe tips. Too bad the sport package didn't come with something more aggressive like this from the factory. I did mine for about $500 installed. I don't think you need replacement brackets, but the oem diffuser/bracket are like $180 on ebay. The diffuser alone is $150, so might be able to shave off a few bucks. The tips I got from aliexpress for $209. The welding was right about $100. I'm sure I could have shaved off a couple more bucks if I shopped around for the welding. I just wanted it done.
