Aftermarket HID Flickering
Hey guys,
I recently purchased HID conversion kit. Install was super simple but immediately after installing I noticed that the driver side light would flicker then turn off. It would continue to do this while driving or at a stop.
I thought it was only the driver side but after some careful night time driving it appears that both sides are flickering in and out.
Has anyone run across this problem before? I've done some research and the two options I've seen are either a wiring harness or a canceller.
Any input is greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

My DDM kit started flickering after my original bulbs went bad (3.5 years). Then for the past 2 yrs, I've just been driving with the flickering bulbs.
I would suggest the Morimoto H7 kit from aznoptics or theretrofitsource with a H7 canbus error cancelor.
Best of luck, keep us updated.

These cheap HID kits are super hit or miss. Overall DDM is trash, even though there's tons of people that will tell you THEY never had a problem. Lights isn't something I like to gamble whether work or not.
Go Morimoto, I recommend the retrofit source, and things will run much smoother. I have liked all my retrofits through them and have had probably close to a half dozen friends get them as well with great results.

if you have the budget, I would even recommend their FX-R projectors. I installed a set in my Honda Fit. I would gobas far to say it surpasses all German car's stock projectors.
TheRetrofitSource really is your HID and lighting go to spot!
