Hello everyone, I have a 2009 C300 sport that's completely stock. No modifications what's so ever. The other day I traded my father for his E350 for a weekend and when I got my car back he complained that my exhaust was too loud. From his perspective I could understand why he complained because the '10 E350 he has has a very quiet emission system.
My question to everyone is, does y'all's stock exhaust have a pretty healthy sound to it? As in when you turn on the car you can hear the exhaust and when you give a good amount of gas you can hear it as well?
I'll post a video of my exhaust in a little bit.
Thanks for y'all's input

LOL......you are asking the wrong crowd. Maybe on the "other" MB forum, but here, you'll get nothing but folks pumping X-pipes all day.
Never mind, just asked my neighbor if i could drive his c300 for a bit and it sounds the same. Turns out that my rear tires are making may too much noise while in motion. Im guessing that the Michelin pilot supersport a/s 3 tend to sound like crap after a good 20K miles on it.
Thank y'all anyways

It's a trait of the V6... one of the main reasons I can't stand them. I'm not a fan of the ever present growling.

The V6es sound better than the 1.8 when being wound out - but in general the 1.8 has mostly intake honk rather than exhaust growl.
