My twin turbo C250
It's finally happening and were using a stand alone unit with a T3 and T4 turbo. The CIA is almost complete as well. Sorry been busy but have not forgotten. Will post updates.

whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat !!!!!
Please more details
& take us through as I can see your car is loaded with mods as a 200/250CGI
I would realy like to know more and probably follow your lead from the other half of the world.
Mine so far I've ordered the Kleemann Downpipe, Airfillter & Kbox awaiting shipment.
H&R super sport with CVT Vossens
C63 HID headlights.
Trying to find a proper exhaust other than the trixarmy as it's too expinsive.
TT is something interesting for me Please fill us with the results.

Why not a C63? To be different I would guess. Everyone knows what you have with an AMG. Some like the sleeper approach. You can also still enjoy 30+ mpg with a properly setup small displacement turbo engine. Wonder how much boost the open deck block on the C250 will take without cylinder walls cracking? Block guard maybe?
This is way cool. Which turbos do you plan on using? The one turbo with the old school anti surge housing looks to be for a diesel. The one with the more modern anti surge housing looks like a 30 or 35r turbo. AR .63 hotside? Or .47? Why not just a twin scroll variable nozzle single turbo? Twin turbo setups on a 4banger are pretty complex, take up a lot of space, and are heavy. Looks to be groundbreaking whatever you do! Congrats!

Thank you. Yea a C63 is fun but I can get my 250 to be a lot faster on my custom build for less money, and I love the sleeper approach and turbo motors. The turbo I'm using is a GT35R with AR .63 for the quick spool up. We're doing a twin turbo build that will be running off the same Greddy stand alone unit that I will be using on my single turbo upgrade but we will either have it on a sleeved 2.0 liter 4 banger or a v6 and that's after I blow the stock motor. Will keep you guys posted, and should be having the CIA coming out shortly. Sorry been busy with out Benz start-up "BK race & engineering" and the methanol kit install with racing harness and seats.

What are you plans for fueling needs? Which Greedy stand alone? The AEM is the cats meow in the Japanese tuning world for full stand alone. I wonder how a stand alone will handle all of the sub systems like ESP and the like? A solid 300whp 320tq would be a hoot on this platform. I would think a reworked stock turbo could manage that. Pity there aren't any flashes available.

The greddy is a semi-standalone because it runs all the electronics pertaining to the engine, but still retained the factory ecu so you can still have all you amenities.
The semi stand alone unit is the "GReddy e-manage ultimate".

I did some data logging pulls yeaterday with the Burger tuning box @ 50% Looks like boost is reduced in lower gears with you really only getting max boost in 3rd and up. I saw a max of 18.6 psi with it droping to 11psi by redline. Timing is also pulled to as low as 5dg WOT @ max torque. Very concervative. Wish I could log knock to see if thats why timing is so low. Also during shifts, the timing actually gets pulled to -6 and is slow to recover. Throttle drops down to 20% too. Massive power killers.

Exciting stuff, love to see someone really see what these cars can do.
And this is exactly why we need a flash. The ability to work out the timing and knock on a dyno and datalogs could really yield some power. I assume the stand alone route is a bit overkill for keeping a stock turbo but is tempting due to the power potential.
Thats very exciting! I didn't know the Emanage would work with Mercedes. They sell a harness adapter for it or it has to be custom wired? What about base maps? Have to start from scratch? When you get it right, it will be so much smoother and more powerful than factory ecu control.

I need it because I am doing custom turbo upgrade for now and am using the stand alone with my car right now while we're building the block for the twin turbo and have that ready to go into my car. That way my tech will already know how to write to new fuel curves when my car goes back on dunk with new motor. Will post some video this week with water methanol kit, ending dampers, intercooler spray bar, custom CIA,ñ followed by stand alone in 2 weeks. Welcome to the beginning of a beautiful things ladies and gentlemen. This will be epic!!!!

As far stock configuration yes, but we have found more than enough room once the stock turbo tagged welded on the the exhaust manifold is removed along with the downpipe too.

MBWorld Fanatic!
I had upgraded my prior VW up close to 300 HP but the car wasn't designed for that power so it wasn't always fun/easy to drive. A RWD C250 should handle it nicely.
