New here with a few questions
Hi all, I'm in south Florida and I just picked up a 2013 C250 Sport with Nav, backup camera and seat package with 20K miles on the ODO and am getting to know the car. I'm coming from a 2007 VW GLI.
My, hopefully, easy question. What is that single beep that happens about 30-60 seconds after starting the car? It doesn't seem to have any visuals.
My next question is a little more complicated. After getting the car inspected I found the front bumper had gotten curb pried. So there is a bit of a gap on the paneling and some of the wheel well parts have come loose. Everything is still there. It's just a bit floppy on the bottom side. I didn't notice this at first but now I can see other cars have a tighter paneling alignment.
I have till this Sunday to decide if I want to keep the car. But my service appointment is on Tuesday. I know they won't replace the bumper but don't know if they can get it fixed like they said they would. The service department pulled the "It's a used car" line on me already.
I figure this is probably a common issue on this car. So others may have had experience in getting this repaired.
There isn't anything else in the area that meets the specs I'm looking for as I don't want wood trim interior or the smaller Comand screen.
Finally, there is a driver's door rattle that happens over bumps. Is this common and are MB dealers good at fixing this under warranty?
Thanks!

Welcome michail71, Did you do a CARFAX report on this vehicle? Me owning a 2010 C300 cannot tell about the single beep since my car is completely silent with the exception of the locks arming themselves at 10mph. Regarding the panel, if it's obvious and you can move the loose panel, I would definitely request the dealer to fix it! It's just closing the gap and re-tightening bolts. Regarding the driver's door rattle it is certainly NOT normal. At least all my doors shut very tightly and solidly (no rattles at all).
Good Luck!!!

It is clean. MB dealer confirmed both services have been performed. CarMax re-did the service too but that makes me worry if proper oil was used. I don't usually trust mass production places like this and may re-do myself to make sure proper oil was used.

Non-CPO, it came from CarMax. I checked the CPOs in the area but they didn't have what I was looking for and I needed something soon.
But it does have 2 years of factory warranty left. CarMax wanted around 3200 for their extended warranty. I figured I'd shop around or risk it. So far every extended warranty I've purchased has never gotten used.

Call MB USA with the vin number and make sure there are 2 years left and that the MB factory warranty can be transferred to you . Since the car is 3 years old it seems you only have 1 year left on the warranty .....

Yup, it was driving me nuts and I couldn't find anything online. It may have been in the owner's manual, which I did read. But that owner's manual must rival that of the space shuttle, lol. Plus, it's depressing list of all the features that didn't come with my car.
