Keyless Go
Hi new member here .I don't understand difference between KEY- LESS GO and KEY -LESS START. The former seems to be in the more premium models on the build site

KEYLESS GO is the option that you put the car key in your pocket and whenever you come near the car and pull the door handles the doors get unlocked (no need for you to take out the key out of your pocket) same goes for the trunk.

Accedently leave your key in boot and close, with Keyless Go the boot closes then opens a couple of inches.

Keyless GO is the full Keyless GO with keyless entry, automatic boot open/close with the locking button also, plus keyless start.
Keyless GO Start - you have to open and lock the car with the key, but when starting the car you only need to push the break and push the button.

For those with key less go, is there an actual switch in the door handle or just touch sensor to open?
I drove a E63 a few years back and saw the switch behind the handle, not impressed.

I prefer some mechanical knob to lock/unlock. If you ever washed your car and kept a key in your pocket, car starts randomly locking unlocking, so you need either put keys away and put inside the car. Both options are crazy for me.

It's not standard on all cars ?

Don't forget you also have the KEYLESS GO with hands free access. That allows you to kick your foot under the boot (trunk) and open and close it automatically.
KEYLESS GO in Australia has that additional feature too.

Can open the boot while carrying shopping, gym bag and protein shake etc.

I order the Keyless Go pack, WITH handsfree access, but seems the dealer made a mistake & didn't order it... (while I paid for it of course...)
The dealer says it can't be added now in a later phase.
Whe did your dealer exactly do?
Can it be added?

2 quick presses of the lock button on the key and it will shut off the key.
This will prevent the scenario you just described, so you can wash the exterior without multiple locks/unlocks.

Mine wasn't added afterwards, rather it was faulty and didn't work as effortlessly as in the video.
