How is the sound with Kleeman headers ?
I have found vids from Kleeman and res delete and 2nd cat delete , but thats too loud for my liking , and everyday use .
Iam wondering how is the sound compared to stock , with only Kleeman headers and 1st cat delete , so still left 2nd cat , resonator and muffler ?
I dont want too loose any of that stock quietness at low load , and cruising around .

A friend has kleeman headers, with down pipes, x-pipe and resonator delete, still with stock back boxes and secondary cats on his 171 SLK55, so it should be a pretty good guide for noise levels. Ive not heard it in person myself, but it sounds amazing on you tube.
Hope these vids help:

I have Kleemann headers/downpipes + the rest stock (plus tunes of course).
Tried at first without resonator and for my taste it was far too loud so I put the resonator back on.
At idle now it has a little deeper sound and I can cruise around almost like stock. The difference is when I start pushing it, then it wakes up but not in a stupid manner.

Sorry, no clip.
The sound is very civilized, except when you really hit it.
The car should have been like this when it left the factory, in my opinion!
I travel a lot on highways with no drone or barks.
Sometimes I wish it was louder, but I´m actually very pleased with this sleeper-mode.

No. But with Kleemann headers it´s like that. Programming is required.
Keep the rest stock and the sound will be civilized, just a tiny bit louder.

I have a W210 E430 and no video so I don't know how much help I am. I have Kleemann headers (Swain coated) and 300 cell cats in place of the stock secondaries. The sound is not loud at all. You can hear the sound of the exhaust rushing through the header tubes like any car with headers but if you didn't know better most people wouldn't even notice. Still sounds like a Luxury Mercedes and not a muscle car or ricer.

Thanks for the feedback , still looking for sound sample
I beleive you its discreet with only headers but i would love to hear it , to compare to full stock .

kleeman is considered a "mid" because it comes with downpipes and gets rid of the primaries. I have them on my w209 and they sound AMAZING in my opinion. I have primary/secondary/resonator delete and added a pair of high flow cats
