I have a placed a deposit for a new C63S back in October last year, yesterday my dealer in Houston (Greenways) told me that I can only choose the spec once they receive a PO, they told me only in September would they receive a PO. Has anyone been able to actually place an order and receive a confirmation of a new C63S from a US Mercedes dealer.

I'm confused -- you place an order in October 2014 and there is no PO yet? Sounds like you should have been one of the early adopters for the car and already have a PO and build date. I placed my order early in the spring and go into production in June for C63 S.

Really, yes they told me in Houston I was number 2 on the wait list. I spoke with the sales manager and he looked at the system and said no PO for my order. I will go again on Monday and ask what dealer did you get your car from.

Also whats the options have you chosen and did you buy the W205 C63S Edition One

No, I'm getting the standard S model not the Edition One. There are a few people here online getting the Edition One. I'm just surprise you haven't heard anything yet. Perhaps its because you're in Texas.....maybe?

Your dealer didn't do you right. Is it a small dealership? I placed a deposit in July. Im getting my car in 7 days lol Iceman placed his order around a month ago at the same dealership and he's getting his in June.

Last summer, I was on the process at looking for a loaded C400 and did not even go past the email stage with the internet sales guy because I did not like his attitute. Even though Fletcher is a bit far from LA but I don't mind giving them another chance since I also got my Cayman 5 minutes from there in Newport.

Who is your contact there? Is he/she an AMG sales expert who knows the product like JPMBenz (LOL) ?

Very good point indeed. Most MB Dealerships do not have a clue of the product.
They (MBUSA) should train/inform their dealerships better.Myself and others have asked JP questions on this forum because we got no answer from our contacts at MBUSA.
Kudos to JP for keeping us informed.

^^ this dude above me has probably been the most help when its come to anything Mercedes. I don't think any sales person knows about these cars as much as he does. Me and him communicate almost everyday. He has been more help than my sales person for damn sure. If I lived in the east coast I would definitely buy my car from JP (thats if he got me my car before his) He bet me a while back that he would get his car before me Hows that going for you JP LOL JK

JP, the car with the build date 4/23 is for C63S Edition One. Can changes be made to the C63S Edition One car as I understand that each dealer would receive one C63S Edition One.

I was told today that because I wanted a change in color and spec, I would have to wait for a PO.....

The only thing that can be changed to the Edition 1 was the color. You cannot add any options to the E1 besides an Illuminated Star. Those cars all come one way. In fact, usually the E1's are all the same color. This is the first time that an E1 can be have different colors.
