Anyone have any good guestimates on shipping from Alabama to:
1. East coast (MA, NY, NJ, etc.)
2. Midwest (Chicago, St Louis, KC, etc.)
3. Northwest (Seattle, Portland, etc.)
4. South east (Atlanta, Miami, etc.)
5. West coast (SF, LA, SD, etc.)
I was told to expect the car appropriately 30 days after production ends -- I'm in SoCal.

I think it takes about 10 days. Then all the other delivery steps happen. So I'm assuming 2-3 weeks to get it.

Can the informed, please educate the uninformed (me), what are the timing of things?
2015 - C63/s coupe / sedan - order / delivery
2016 - C63/s coupe / sedan - order / delivery
Black forged wheels are likely out of my interest now...
Thanks!

There is no such thing as a 2015 C63 w205 coupe. 2016 coupe hasn't been unveiled yet. It won't be till September. Maybe another year till those hit show rooms. I had one of the first orders (if not the first) my car went into production on the 14th. I should get it in like 3 weeks. Hopefully.

What's all this talk about the 2016 model, what the wait on them? I am dying to get a car, but I can always wait if the slight wait can justify the gratification

Most of the vehicles for the US are transported by Train to the various VPC's and then shipped from there. Any vehicle in the Northeast goes to Baltimore and then sent via regular truck.

MY2016 will have the black wheels available. I like the nightstyle package with the c/f spoiler and black wheels as a compete design. Still can't make my mind up which color to choose so I'm hoping they will add new colors.

Side question, do you guys drive your C63s all year round in Toronto? Or do you have beaters for the winter. I'm in Toronto as well and still trying to decide whether to get the C450 or c63

I'm starting to think that the Canadian delivery dates are just place holder dates since the cars didn't get their certifications yet. Hard to believe that the guys in Toronto will get their cars end of June, Edmonton May 28th, and Calgary May 4th when all of our cars were built within a day or so of each other.

I plan on driving the C63S all year round in Edmonton which has quite bad weather during the winter months.

Difference between how a C450 and the C63 handles in the snow comes down to the horsepower. Take off from dead stop.
So to compensate for it you have to put winter tires on. And be aware that when you are starting from a full stop in heavy snow you will get the traction control kicking in. Either that or be gentle at start up and you will be fine.
Traction control makes the car more than manageable. In deep snow it will kick in a lot more. But I still drive to work in it.
That and we do not really get a lot of snow. So most days it is drive pavement. So you can still have fun with it.
But if you have some snow on the road, and you take the traction control, you can have some fun like I did:
I know a few C63 drivers, and they all drive their cars all year round.

Love the fact that the MB configurator says the car will cost $10,000,000,000. Like a bad Austin Powers quote. Ten billion dollars!

Not sure what the percentages are, but you would have thought they would have done this prior to building the car. I mean other than the engine being built in Germany, and some parts coming from the EU, most of it must be sourced in the US and it's assembled here so you would think the certification would be both straight forward and figured out by now.
Ugh.
