Photos :: 2010 Steel Grey C63 with 35% FormulaOne Classic Window Tint
I recently had my windows tinted by Accutint in Bellevue, WA.
I opted for FormulaOne Classic 35 non-metallic film on all windows except for the windshield. The film color is a nice compliment to the Steel Grey. Not too dark, not too light. I'm quite happy with the look.
Note: This is the legal-limit for window tinting here in Washington State.
Photos below taken on a typical overcast day here in the Pacific Northwest. In bright sunlight, the tinting appears slightly lighter.

I understood Formula 1 was one of the better tint brands out there. I'm sure there are other opinions, but I had a good experience with it several years ago.
The pics look good...good clarity and color balance for an overcast day. Nice...

That tint works really well with the Steel Grey.
The car looks great and those are very nice pics.
Almost makes me want to change my colour choice...LOL
Never know I might yet

That looks great!!! This is the exact same tint and darkness (35%) that I have on my Iridium silver. So far I am very happy.....

2011 c300 steel grey metallic
I just purchased this car and was womdering what the code # is for this paint color? Also in the steel grey metallic with tints threa I saw a good looking amg in that color with white side lights and thought it looked good. I tinted my windows 15% and was planning on blacking out my head & tail lights then buying the smoked side lights, along with the black mesh grill blacked out but keeping thr chrome front pieces and star... I also don't know if I should do matte or satin black rims or do an anthracite or gunmetal grey color for the rims. I haven't seen a car in my color with these details down to it so idk what to choose bc idk what it will look like... Help is appreciated

By blacking out the headlights, you mean the housings and not putting a tint film on them, right? I'm all for blacked out housings, but don't darken the actual lens. As for the taillights, again, just make sure you are doing it the right way and dont go too dark. Starts to look ricey at a certain point.
As for the wheels, a nice gloss black would look great on the dark gray.
Hey, at least the effort was made which is more than you can say for most.

Haha very true, it was pretty informative and that's why I wasn't too worried about it lol. It caught me off guard .
HMcgahan, you can always match the wheel finish to the mesh grill, corner lights, etc. I chose matte on mine cause it still had a small shine to it but with a matte look. Hope this helps some:
This site has a whole bunch of pics of the different color choices http://www.pbase.com/dinn/vorsteiner_wheels
Gloss vs textured
Matte - still seems to have a little shine
All diff ones

The paint code will either be on the inside drivers door or underneath the hood. Look at the factory stickers and such.
