Gas mileage?
I know no one drives these cars for fuel economy, but I am curious what sort of mileage you can squeeze out of a tank.
I am currently in a Mazda 6, and I get about 500km to a $55 tank.
I do about 60 city, 40 highway.
Would love to hear what you guys are getting.

60/40 mpg? Good luck getting anywhere even close in a w204 you might get 25% of that
It wouldn't be as bad if the tank was larger
If you stay in M and rev the gears you are lookin at 10mpg or less comfort mode you might get 16-17 all depends on your drivng

I think he was talking about 60km/40km a gallon or liter since he is in Canada.
OP you should do a search because that question has already been visited. If you drive aggressively you'll end up with a 15-16 real world miles a gallon average. Cruising control + C mode + highway = 20-22 mpg.
It really depends on your driving style. But as you already know someone buying an AMG does not do it for its fuel efficiency.

oops missed that part.
its been answered several times over on the forum this is true, as it is with a lot of questions.
OP i'd suggest searching for posts with your questions and make one thread about anything you didnt find answers to rather than several threads like you have now.

My commute to work usually gets me about 13.5 mpg with a 60%/40% highway/city. If I drive like a hooligan I have seen like 8.5 on the street and as low as 6 on the track. Full long distance on the highway with cruise set I have seen about 21 mpg.

I get around 13-14 mpg during my daily commute. I went on a 1500 mile trip with 95% highway driving and the trip computer showed 21.5 although my gas app calculated around 18 mpg. as in any other car, the dash tripmeter is optimistic by 10%

I might add that the mpg calculator on the car - or at least on my car - is always at least 10% optimistic. The 15 mpg average that the car is reporting turns out to be closer to 13.5 when you run the calculations.

Yeah I've noticed that too. Put in 16 gal for 300 miles and it displayed 21.5 or something.

Sorry, I meant 60% city, 40% highway.
How many miles/kilometres do you guys normally get out of a full tank?
I'm getting roughly 500km in my Mazda 6, and pretty disappointing considering the car is soulless.

On average I drive about 800km per month and spend $185 per month on gas. I average between 16L to 18L per 100km driving 60/40 city/highway. This is not the car to buy if you are worried about gas prices or fuel economy. If I'm having fun in the car (which is really hard not to do, all of the time), I can drain 60L from the tank in under 300km. I love the car and it makes me smile every time I drive it but even a F150 would be more fuel efficient (and definitely more cost effective if you consider the F150 drinks regular and the C63 requires premium gas).

i'm going to keep resetting and checking to see how much i'm consistently getting. i personally think 150 is a bit TOO low.
with a 17 gallon tank thats averaging out to be 8.8 mpg. That can't be right. I do drive aggressive, but i definitely feel like this car would be in the 165-180 tank range. What could possibly be the culprit behind this? Let's say it wasn't my right foot..

We have a 16 gallon tank. That being said I avg 16 mpg city/highway combine. I usually get 220 miles to a tank but that is mostly highway miles and I have 1 gallon or so to spare when refueling.
Also, gas light comes on with 4 gallons of fuel left.
Only down fall to this car is not having a larger fuel tank, 20 gallons would be ideal.

well ive owned the car now for 2 months. i have to refill every 7 days, or ~400km of driving.
best ive gotten so far is 425km before a refill and i had to put 65.53l in.
i managed a best of 15.43l/100km and a worst of 16.6l/100km.
i basically drive in c mode and its in sydney traffic/ clear roads 85/15 split. by clear i mean weekends with no traffic. i never get on the open road, its all arterial roads with speed limit of 80km or 60 km

I've gotten 13.7mpg (US) over the last 4K miles. with mostly city driving. I did do one largely highway tank that netted over 19.
When I got the car, the comp had been reset for the last owner who had run over 19.7mpg over his 37K miles. He must have had the lightest foot on earth.
