Really happy with my C63
Just a lot of different ways to use this car to get your $$ worth. I stressed a lot over going with a new M3 or a C63. I come from a 98 M3 then a 2005 M3 + a C350.
I also contrasted buying this car or going for a used exotic. I now know I made the right decision. I feel like I got an exotic motor in a practical chassis.
This week I:
- Went to the grocery store and bought the fam a weeks worth of groceries with 11mo old junior in tow - rear facing child seat diaper bag and all.
- hacked a lot of rushour traffic and drove myself to hockey in minus 20C weather. Thank you sirius radio, heated seats and silky auto trans.
- drew the looks of countless suckers in their SUVs and pedestrians as I downshifted to 1st from 5000 while approaching a stoplight.
- surpassed 200kph between stoplights in the city with no one around.
For those out there that lurk the forums (like I did) it's worth the money. I have 481hp but to think they charge 200k+ for an exotic with similar power has me thinking this car is an incredible bargain.

I too just got a C63 P31 and you should be happy to know it is one very fast beast out of the box, as I just laid down some solid vbox times!
Also came from an E92 M3, also owned a B7 RS4, both great cars...but right now I am really enjoying the C63. Great all around car

We've tested a P31 on the Dynojet and the power results were nearly identical to two Kleemann tuned non-P31 cars on the same dyno. More here -> https://mbworld.org/forums/4189247-post11.html
We also had the same P31 car at a local track rental that went back-to-back vs. a Eurocharged tuned non-P31 car. Just like the dyno results, the track times were nearly identical. More here -> https://mbworld.org/forums/4280480-post91.html

Good to hear you're all enjoying your new cars.
The C63 is a great car and an amazing all around performer. I love driving mine. Well I will love driving it again in the spring...LOL

I too am a bran new C63 p31 owner... my break in period is comming to an end so I can't wait to floor it from a stop light!
Congrats on the car and I have exactly the same list of "pros", as I have to drive my kid to the kindergarden every day, drive in traffic and play hockey every week. I'm also planning on putting a roof rack to go MB and windsurfing with the beast. Try doing that with a used F430 (same power output...I know it's not the same thing - weight, balance, control, agility... but it's a 4 door sedan!!
I also considered the M3 (my all-time dream car since I was old enough to know what an M car is...) but fell for the C63's exhaust note.
