Window Trim
Have many of you guys painted your window trim to black?
If so, what shade black did you pick and did it look right considering the rubber seal on our cars are a flat black whereas the pillar is a gloss black.
- car is going in next wednesday for a satin black grill and matching fog lights, but Im uncertain if I want to do window trim as I have brushed aluminum wheels with a polished lip.
Do I need to worry about any rattling after taking the window trim off and re-installing it?

The trim is very easy to remove, they just pull straight up. I use trim tools, but you can just wedge something under and pop them up. No problems at all

Ill let you guys know -
As for what Im doing, I decided not to black everything out. My Range Rover Sport was previously blacked out and I actually hated it.
For the C63
Satin Black Grill leaving the circle and star chrome
Fog Light Rings Satin Black
Im leaving the window trim chrome to match the wheels and 6.3 logo on the side
And on the rear Im leaving the trunk handle chrome
Blacking out the trim and having it look right compared to the flat black rubber and gloss pillar didnt make sense to me.
The Arkym Diffuser will go on too and the Modulares will go back on end of the month - once they pave some of the roads

I'm only going to get the window trim & the strip on the trunk painted black. Leaving the rest alone. I'm getting gloss in order to match the pillars.

gloss black window trim / rear trunk thing / all badges (now removed) / and the grill. I removed everything and had my buddy spray it as his body shop. I did have to re-do the grill after the winter but did a much better job on the re-do so I don't think I'll have the same chipping issues on the grill. sadly the only pics I have.

I totally forgot about those. When we put my car back together I was like ahhhh we missed a bit.
After removing the bumper cover once to replace that damn lower grill I don't ever want to take it off again but I do have 1 cracked fog I figure I'll wait for the other to break, replace both and paint the surrounds then.
