MHP Longtubes & Midpipes headed my way!!!
I figure with the Nov 11 track day and roll racing event coming up, now would be the time to take my car to the next level. So I've finally ordered up a set of MHP longtubes & catless mids. Andy says they should ship Friday, then hopefully can be installed by James and his crew over at ACGSD shortly thereafter.
Now I've just got to find some time to hit the dyno for some baseline runs so I can track the incremental power increases.
Will keep everyone posted.

Hoping to make at least 10whp more, all else equal. However I won't have the ability to do a truly objective comparison since I sold the MBH's and all dynos I did with them were obviously on a different car, at a different time.

Congrats Eric, can't wait to hear your impressions. Still have mine sitting in the box. Weather is started to cool down here and I hope to get some track
time with the MBH setup before changing to MHP.

You made around 470rwhp on Jeremy's dyno with the MBH setups right?

I can't wait to see your results on the dyno and read your review....
Any chance you'll join us at our next Famoso rental? It will likely be in December (coldest month of the year for that track )

The numbers from your last car are going to be hard to beat. Assuming that Cali had already switched to its "summer Blend" version of 91oct. and still putting down "470whp/416wtq" Little tidbit... Where as dyno can correct for temps, they can not correct for fuel.
In all respects, I wish you the best with your new car and setup.

Obviously your product made amazing power, and I could not have been more pleased with the overall quality and performance of the MBH setup. I would have gone with them again, but just wanted to try something else this time around. I agree, the 470/416 will be tough to beat in comparable conditions, but maybe my 2011 will baseline a bit higher than my 2010 to give me a better starting point.

Are you kidding Mo, I check the boards every day hoping there will be a new thread from you about the next private rental. I don't care if the event ends up being on my wedding anniversary, count me in!!!

Thanks, but I recognize I can't keep living at the dyno. I need to get back out to the track and put up some solid numbers. My last 12.1 at almost 119mph at Famoso wasn't bad considering the summer heat and street tires, but hoping I can squash that time this winter. We'll just have to wait and see.

Its good to know what kind of numbers your putting down on the dyno just for piece of mind though.

I really wish I had held on to the MBH headers/mids a bit longer so I could have done an objective comparison against the MHP headers/mids, same car, same dyno, and same conditions. Oh well, it's pretty clear already that you can't go wrong with either setup.

O man, I totally understand. Verity is the spice of life. I think in the end everyone here just want everyone else to enjoy their car to the fullest. And I'm pretty sure the MHP set up will bring a smile to your face. In he end thats all that matters. Remember if you need anything I'm always here.
