How are owning LM-60s not reasonable? They are amazing bad weather tires and if you are using the car as a DD in winter and need to know you can get around regardless of weather. I had Hankooks on a previous G37 coupe and they were great when it was dry or wet but a clear step down on ice/snow/slush compared to the LM-60s. They may be cheaper but they never felt as sure footed in bad weather. The Hankooks are similar in bad weather performance to the Michelin PA3 but not quite as good in the dry (close) but WAY less money.

All I can say is that it drives a hell of a lot better than a 3 series BMW!

Using mine as a daily driver...light snow today. My gratis winter tires were great!

On the PA3, I got stuck in 2 inches of slushy snow on my flat street. We had more snow than that last week and the LM-60 didn't have a problem even starting on steep (~30 deg) inclines.
If you live somewhere that sees very light snow or you could leave the C63 home when it is snowing/icy then I would go PA3 due to its great dry road winter handling. If not and you need to take the car out in all conditions then it is not a great choice IMO.
Based on what I have owned, here is how I would rank them...
Cold, dry winter conditions:
1. Michelin Alpin PA3
2. Hankook Icebear
3. Blizzak LM-25
4. Blizzak LM-60
5. Michelin X-ice
Deep snow, ice and slushy weather:
1. Blizzak LM-60
2. Michelin X-Ice (better on ice but bad in deep snow)
3. Blizzak LM-25/Hankook Icebear (tie)
4. Michelin Alpin PA3
Over the past 5 to 6 winters, I have changed tires frequently to try and find the best compromise for me and in my winter conditions (Eastern Canadian). I expect I will stick with the LM-60 now for some time. Decent performance in the dry and better performance than the others I have tried in bad weather. There would be better bad weather tires (Nokian, WS60, X-Ice2, etc) but the trade off in dry weather performance is too high IMO. The LM-60 is a good compromise.
