Yes, it captures audio as well.

Hopefully the audio can be stripped off so I can mount this on my rear quarter panel, take movies and dub in annoying techno music.
In any case, I'll order one tomorrow when my wife isn't watching. Need more info on the wifi thing though. And maybe an external power source. Looks like it would make a perfect mobile security camera when I'm not driving with it.
