M3 - C63 blk/blk ordered
Has anyone else gotten the rear sunshade?
Just took delivery of my '12. I had ordered 540 – Power Rear Window Sunshade, which is $440. I was surprised to see only a powered rear shade, but no manual sunshades on the rear doors. The owner's manual clearly shows that there is a manual shade option. So I am trying to figure out of they were supposed to be part of the package or not.
Thanks for any insight.

I wish I did, had it on our last E class and is very useful specially if you are not tinted. Is this something dealer can install?

I think it comes standard on all Canadian C63s. In any case, I do have it, also have tinted windows, and I've never used it other than to show people how cool it is (lol) - of course, I don't often have passengers in the back seat driving around during the day time, which is probably the only time it'd be useful.

Does not come standard with all Canadian C63s. I don't think it's an option on the Coupe, but it comes in a package up here for the '12 (Premium Rear Seating Package) sedans which also includes the manual sunshades on the rear door and temp control in the back. $1,200 option, useless to me as it is never used. It's on my C63, but not by choice. Got a little extra discount to cover most of the cost of this package as I didn't want it.

(a)'12 C63 P/P, LSD, 19" m/spoke,comfort pack. (b)Astra SRI.
A VERY useful option in OZ, as it protects the top of the rear seat/parcel shelf from the hot Aussie sun. In Oz, it forms part of the comfort pack which includes keyless go & the rear blind...all good value for us....so, we have them on our C63!
The rear side window MANUAL blinds would have been OK too, but the dollars only stretch so far?!
Cheers, Pickles.

Use the rear blind all the time. Great when parked outside, and use it occasionally when driving to stop the kids getting fried.
I believe the rear side window blinds are an option on the regular C-class and should be available for the C63 sedan. I would not mind finding out if they can be retrofitted.

The rear door sun shades, to my knowledge has never been an option on the W203, W204 C Class models for the US. I've only seen this option on the E and S Classes.
