GT3 rs over the BS??

Hello folks!! Well I've been looking for a new car since I sold my 09 63 which I loved! But I got a chance to get a BS ... I havnt got a build date from MBcanada but they still took my money for deposit... I gave them a deposit 3 months ago ... And haven't heard anything since accept to come and look at one in the showroom... THEN I get a call from a friend and say's he got an 11 gt3 rs with 310km yes I was stunned too !! He will be getting it very soon... And I just might pull my order from benz

Really depends how you will use the car. Daily driver ? Summer car on weekends ? Track only ? Lots of variables to consider.
I'd say the BS would be more suited for your needs and occasional track day. It has much more storage and is also more usable daily than the 911 which is hard to get in and out of not to mention it's driving characteristics, suspension, transmission etc.

But with the bs I don't know if I'm getting one for sure ... He said he'll try his best .. But I still would have to wait ... What I was thinking is that he will try n sell me the one from the car show and been at every dealer ... Which I still have to wait awhile for

J/k
It means c63 black series edition

It's more exclusive the regular AMG's
For ex: there will only be 70BS coming to USA and maybe over 10000 c63's regular AMG.

Get the RS. I went from GT3->M3-> C63 if I can do it all over again I would save a lil more for the GT3RS

Did you see this thread yet?
Finally !!

What is the price difference? I would think the BS would be the better daily car that could do track days and the GT3 would be the better track car that you could drive daily.

It should be a heart choice between the two.

I've wanted the BS since day 1 it was announced. I had the same opportunity for a RS 4.0 , and its an amazing car !!! , but my heart goes to the BS , no matter what.

Bottom line , choose with your heart ( lol ). If you are not definitely set on the BS , get the 4.0.

Edit : if its a 3.8 , get the BS

For all out fun and more street use get the C63BS.
For track duties Id get the GT3RS in a heart beat.
Both cars are great but it all depends what your looking for.

I am a Porsche fanatic. I'd run with Porsche all day if I could afford a bad boy one such the one you are contemplating.

The 4.0 is $190,000, about $70,000 more then a C63BS.
Not really a narrow price gap.

Don't want to be a buzz killer but if you don't have serious track experience both of these cars are overkill, especially if you are unsure of taking them to the track.

If it's about looks and comfort, there are other options. You can buy a standard (if there is such a thing) GT3 for pretty cheap and start with that and see how you like it.

The reason I talk about the track is that the C63 BS will not be faster than any tuned C63 in a straight line. So unless you're on a track, it's a bit like paying extra just for looks.

If you want to attract attention there are plenty of other cars (Ferraris, Audi R8, Lambos, Aston Martin, etc).

Anyways, if I had to choose one of the 2, it would be the GT3 RS hands down. I suppose the comparison is a used GT3 RS versus a new C63 BS.

Good luck

GT3 in my book. Better performer and it holds it value much better.

For a daily driver though the BS would be a better choice.... not really though in my book. Id rather sit in traffic in a POS and not worry about all the Aholes on the road while going to work.

Yess it is a track beast and belongs on a track !! But I don't see what's wrong just owning one .... Opener her up on the highway on a nice sunny day etc ... I don't get how everybody thinks u buy a gt3 rs ! .. U have to go to the track ... Not me!! I work too hard to have such a great car in my hands but take it to the track?? Imma need practice with that lol maybe sumthing I might look in to...... But till then my car will stay clean and trailer free.... U ever wanna buy a clean gt3 rs u call me LOL

There's no comp with the BS and the 4.0 ...... To rich for my blood thanks
