Steering wheel swap
I had to go by the dealership to pick up my new plates. And I poked around for a minute. They happen to have a 2012/2013 C63 that was on it's way to get prepped for pick-up. I had a chance to sit in it. Wow!! The steering wheel blew me away. It was the new Alcantara.
Has anyone thought of, and/or attempted/succeeded? I am now fixated on trying to replace my wheel with this new Alcantara steering wheel. I do not give a sh*t about a "face-lift". It feels great!!!!!

Nope. Not that hideous wheel!!!!!! I know that a certain steering wheel can be obtained.
I am looking for some real 63 heads that have thought of or done.
Thank you though.

Anyone have any input? Anyone?
Oh and again, not for THAT CF steering wheel posted above. I am looking at the leather and Alcantara wheel. NOT that horribly grotesque carbon fiber/Alcantara!!!
Just looking for any advice. Has no one swapped steering wheels?

There have been threads on a swap back of a 2012 steering wheel to a 2009-2011. You also have to replace the column cover with one from an E Class to get the buttons on the wheel to illuminate. A search should dig it up for you.
