Oil level and Tire PSI C63 coupe
My oil light comes on every few months and I need to add some oil. What oil does our car take brand and weight?
Also what is the correct tire PSI, when the tires are cold vs warm?
thanks

The dealer is suppose to use Mobil 5W-40 only available at the dealership.
However, my dealer still uses the Mobil 0W-40.
Mercedes switched over to the 5W-40 to help with the bleed down of the lifters.
Tires pressures are always best taken cold.
The recommended pressures should be posted on the gas door, or you'll see it when you open your driver's door. The recommended pressure has been reported to be a little on the high side and that can cause premature wear to the center of the tire and decreasing your grip when you want to take off fast from a stoplight.

Tire pressure depends on where you look for the info. From the door jam to the gas filler door, they are different. I am at 40 for the fronts and 42 for the rears.
I keep a couple qts. of 0w-40 in the garage but will buy a full oil change worth of the 5-40 from the dealership as I will change my oil once before the scheduled comes up.....How many miles do you have? I have just gone over 2000 and have not had to add any yet.
