Manual Mode Shifting
Do you take your foot off the gas when shifting in manual mode, or is it like a motorcycle quickshifter where it actually works better when you are hard on the gas?

i do this when cruising in M, usually keep my foot on the gas when im going at it. Dont mean to jack your thread, but a few people have told me its bas to let go off the gas and shift when youre in M mode? Anyone know more about this?

Absolutely pedal to the metal. You shifting M is no different than the car shifting. If you had a sequential gearbox i would recommend lifting it just a little as it is a manual gearbox (basically), but no, not on our cars

The 200 or so RPM rule is definitely a must. I came from an M3 with DCT and as much as I love the C63, the DCT on the M3 is definitely better than the MB MCT. No lag at all on the M3 and smoother shifts, especially on downshifts where the M3 DCT has great throttle blips.

But for this car with 5 clutches in the pack its not necessary the car runs very smoothly.
