Hmmm in Canada it wasnt possible to get a C63 without. 2 options imo. Purchase the xenon housing or upgrade to HIDs. If your car didnt come with them you havent technically paid for them so why not just buy them from the dealer?

in the US they are unfortunately part of the lighting package.. which isn't standard. kind of absurd for a car of this price point considering my girlfriend's GTi comes with them standard

I agree, bi-xenons should've been a standard option. The OEM option sounds complicated, and coding through the ECU is not yet supported. I ended up having a shop retrofit mine with some aftermarket projectors.

I am not sure what, if any, could be used.. But I have 2 headlights from a 09 C63 with Xenons, the guts might be useful to you if you are converting?
The backs have broken tabs, but everything else is fine.

^^ agreed, our family 99 TL has xenon & it was impressive to see it standard option 14 years ago.
It is not acceptable for a C63 at this price range to have projectors lights. MB failed on this big time.

you can convert your bulbs to xenon by buying a kit from any number of dealers, try ebay, what ever bulb type you have ; buy a xenon bulb type to match and you get the ballast to power them. just wire in to your 12v
you can get any color bulb.

I feel your pain. I was shocked to find out that Xenons weren't standard with the C63. Heck, most VW's come standard with Xenons. That said, I found a great solution...through Umnitza in Northern California I was able to get my halogen lights retrofitted with Xenon projectors. The light output is great at night, and the fixtures look good. They don't look like the factory Xenons but they look good.

Halogen headlights don't have the adaptive feature built into them, so it wouldn't work if we gave him an adaptive bixenon projector anyways.
it was about $930 with all the features requested like black out, angel eyes, installation, etc.
