Help Finding Fog Bulb
So the previous owner had yellow bulbs in the fogs. Don't know the details of them...
My passenger housing (then later bulb) broke and I have the housing on order. I was able to get in there and take out the previous housing to get to the bulb. All I can see is H7 12V 100W... I want to match the driver's side bulb which is yellow with a yellow tip. Two different shades of yellow will drive me mad.
It looks like what I found here:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...9SIA08B08G5906
Is yellow = yellow and I should just get these?
Is 100w too much and did this contribute to the cracked lenses in the first place?
Thanks to whoever posted how to get at this mess from the back of the wheel well... a total knuckle scraping pain, but better than a $400 stealership repair.

So if I get a new pair... can I get to the driver's side fog bulb also from the wheel well? I hard that side was worse, but maybe that is just for the housing...

I used nokya yellow fog light bulbs. 75W. Great yellow color. Or if you wanted to match the low beams, Phillips diamond vision are great too. I have those in my high beams.

I remember one side being much harder than the other - whichever side it was, it probably took 4-5 times longer to get the bulb into the housing.

I'm using philips diamond vision 5000k to match my LED eyebrows. They are great.
As for replacing the bulbs lifting up your front (jack stands) helps a lot to access the housing from below.
