I've driven the C63 and want to buy one, but it simply shifted too slowly.
Would the fastest shifting setup be a '12+ with TCU and valve body upgrades?
Anything else that could be done?
Is the Black or 507 any faster shifting?

It's not the shift time that makes it feel slow. It's the time from when you pull the paddle to when the car decides to obey your command that makes it feel slow. A tune will help quite a bit. Can't speak for the TCU or valve body upgrades but a tune helps a lot.

Yea. The normal ECU tune will help.

Honestly, I'm not sure. I have the Eurocharged v4 tune and love it. Weistec is also good. Research those and maybe call both and see what they say.

Im driving cls63 tune, i can tell you that the shifting form paddle is not change at all. its still slow as before the tune. The tune affect the real shifting on the transmission. Like chris said above, its just the paddle that is bottlenecking your command. I already talk to several people that the paddle shifter is just suck and i dont think you can do anything to make it faster. but you can try and let me know... I also hate the paddle shifter so much especially when downshifting, always hit the wrong rpm that i wanted.
