My OETuning Experience
Yesterday I picked up the new flashing tool for the Android OS on my phone combined with the MyPersonal Flasher software for my 2011 C63. If anyone hasn't seen this yet its pretty slick, once you register it it contacts OETuning in the cloud and they upload your files directly to your Android via WiFi or cellular. Giving you direct access to your tuning software and a slick interface to flash your ECU. Takes literally 3 minutes to flash to any tune you want with a lot less "key-on key-off" (unlike the MyGenius tool from Dimsport).
This is what the device looks like.
I didn't get a chance to mess with it until today after work I finally got around to registering the device and within minutes my files were uploaded to my phone (It also sends you an email to verify what tunes are ready for you). I grabbed my older BlackBerry USB (remember this part later) to micro USB converter to plug into my Samsung phone and off I went to try to load my updated tunes. Tool loaded up just fine and started writing. Within no time the load was finished and I noticed my fan kicked on after it was finished. I tried to start my car and nothing... needless to say my pants were shat
I called Jeremy and told him what had happened, he told me a couple of things to try with no luck. At this point I'm thinking "great, this new device just fried my ECU...". Jeremy assures me that the ECU is fine that possibly the battery in the car was on its way out or it was really low on juice, which is entirely possible, it had been sitting for 8 straight hours. (MY FAULT on that one I was just excited to try my new toy out ). After a few minutes of trying to no avail Jeremy asked me where I was. Turns out I was about 30 minutes away with no traffic, Jeremy faced Friday gridlock traffic to help me out! He showed up in about 45 minutes with all the tools needed to get me back up and running. After about 20 minutes he had my car started back up and running with the new file on. He checked the troubled new flashing device and the same thing happened again, car wont start, completely dead. At this point I'm ready to throw the new device in the trash and eat the price I paid for it when I remembered something.... the cable that was communicating between the flashing device and my phone was a cable that would only "SLOWLY" charge my Samsung phone... I grabbed my original Samsung Micro USB to USB converter and attempted to load the file again... and wouldn't you know it.... it turned out THAT was the problem. I used an OLD shotty cable from a 3 year old BlackBerry to try to hold power to my Samsung and the flashing device.
I completely wasted 3 hours of mine and Jeremy's time because of a stupid $2 dollar cable you get free with your new device....
I apologized to him and we had a good laugh. I offered to pay him for his trouble and he turned down the offer he was just happy my car was running with my new found toy to play with. Thanks again Jeremy for the help!
I highly recommend Jeremy and OETuning, complete class act.

S4 actually, once your tunes are sync'd from the cloud, its about 2 to 3 minutes. Sync'ing the files from the cloud may take about 5 minutes, but after your tunes our loaded a reflash takes 2 to 3 minutes The writing part is a tad bit faster than the MyGenius tool also. I just like the idea of not having to carry around the huge dimsport tool all the time.

JohnnyBlaze: you're one of the lucky ones that have had the opportunity to meet Jeremy. I'm based in Brunei and have been covering with him via emails, although he does passes by the region (He was in Jakarta sometime last year).
Anyways, I have a Stage 1 tune installed for the past year and had recently installed the Akrapovic Evo exhaust. Jeremy had provided Stage 2 which has been downloaded to the Dimsport flash loader and I have yet to upload it to the car. Now, where did you get that adaptor from?

Jeremy is a nice guy.
He tuned my ML63 twice when he was in Sydney, on both occasions.
First time was when i got it, and the 2nd time, the tune was deleted from Mercedes when they flashed new software to it, and Jeremy happened to be coming to Sydney again, so he popped over and re flashed the ML.
Very nice guy. A real enthusiast when it comes to our cars.
Love this new little tune device!

Call or email Jeremy, he can have one to you ASAP. Hes the first tuner to have them because he pretty much bought out all the pre-sale for this item. I called him the day I found out he had them and picked it up the same day. Much easier to lug around than the dimsport box.

Thanks for the kind words guys!
I am pleased to make myself available when possible. Lucky you were local Sam!
An Android charge cable is required for connection to the Android Flasher. We are experimenting with different quality and price charge cable to determine if one cable is more stable for flashing than others. So far all Android supplied USB charge cables have had no issue. If your current charge cable shows signs of not correctly charging your device we do not recommend using it with the Android Flasher. After cable testing is complete, we will be including said cable with every Android Flasher purchase.

We can raise the RPM limit to what ever is desired by the customer. +300rpm has been seen to be safe from testing. Stock rpm limit is 7010rpm. The rpm gauge actually reads more than the actual value to help with manual shift timing. This has been confirmed via OBD2 CAN logging on many cars that have been dynoed. On P31, C63 Black Series, 507 edition and SLS, 7500rpm limit has been seen to be ok given the upgraded valvetrain. A signed waiver noting the dangers of raising rpm limit must be signed before this tune is supplied.

It really seems to push that much harder after I ran it hard this afternoon. I've heard of tuners with BMW E9x M3's pushing close to 1,000 extra RPM, so 300-500 extra probably wont put too much extra stress on the motor.
on a side note, im trying to get my car as low on fuel to try out the new 109 tune he gave me LOL.
