We have tested at least 5-6 cars now on the dyno with raised rpm limiter to 7500rpm.

Interesting you can raise the rev limit. Thats great news this can now be achieved as I remember years ago when we had tried with the tune I was using at the time it wouldn't work no matter what we did. All along I had thought it was because of the tcu. Obviously I have nfi lol. This awesome news for the m156 platform. If it's ok to tell, is it easy to raise the rev limit? And is there any benefit in your opinion?

Is the raised limiter only for race fuel? Or is it for 93 as well? Free update for existing OE customers? :p

We have been able to raise RPM limit for a long time now. We can also adjust shift points for any gear or transmission setting. Regular C63 without upgraded valvetrain we can raise to 7300rpm (7010rpm is factory stock), P31, BS and 507 we can raise to 7500rpm.

We can raise rpm for any fuel used. 91 and 93 is no problem. Upgrade is free for all existing OE customers. Retunes to suit new mods are $100.

This is the first I've heard that these engines have different valve trains. I thought the modifications were limited to lower case: crank, rods and pistons. What kind of changes did they make to the valve trains? Thanks.

I'm surprised this engine can go over 7k for such a large size. back then engines of this size hardly even go over 6500rpm. it makes me worry it will blow the top!
