Eurocharged 6.3 Underdrive Pulley Group Buy
According to this link Eurocharged has a pulley coming out that produces 12whp.
After speaking to an EC rep the other day it should be available in the next few weeks.

This will be my next modification but wanted to see if any others would be interested as a GB for better pricing.

I'd be in, but im so cautious when it comes to pulleys. The ones evozsport made usually ended up failing and much more hassle than they were worth.

Well this is interesting! Care to elaborate...? I haven't heard of any issues, I sure hope EC doesn't fail at this. I have been counting on this pwr increase since I heard about the release.

But then again this is a EC one so it might be stronger.
Is it really worth 12rw for what it will cost and what it will cost to install and the headache of someone installing wrong.

Orrrr $1800 for a CF Intake that nets zero gains.
At the end of the day if you want to make power in this car you have to pay up. IMHO none of it is worth what we're paying, but we do it anyway.

Im in, since this does not require any re-tune its perfect for those who are looking to squeeze 12 extra horses out of the car.
Gents for a Naturally aspirated motor 12 WHP is a lot. Now is this pulley worth $1000+ dollars? nope. But it does have higher yields compared to some of the other available engine mods for our cars.

I'm in for a pulley ..you should be pulling you're friends CTS-V stock I've raced a few and beat them every time, they never seem to be able to hook up from a dead stop ..but the supercharger sounds sick i'll admit and pretty fast once they get going

I read on other cars underdrive pulleys can damage components connected to the drive belt long term like power steering or alternator. Does anyone know if there are negative repercussions using this long term?

There is no free lunch. You should be aware of the fact the underdrive pulley will spin all belt driven motor accessories at a slower speed than anticipated by the manufacturer. The one I see discussed most is the alternator, especially if aftermarket amps are used with subwoofers and see larger pulleys being used on them. This sort of defeats the purpose of freeing up HP by reducing the drive pulley diameter and mass. I have never bothered with underdrive pulleys myself but there is info out there if you search. Also undampened pulleys have been known to cause some issues and dampened ones known to fall apart. You can also get lighter pulleys to gain some lessening of rotational mass but no change in size for this reason. Less gains but less compromise with other belt driven accessories. Worth doing some research before committing to this mod. This seems to me to be more of a hardcore racing mod than a street friendly way to free up a few more HP.

No aftermarket parts and accessories boosting power is probably "GOOD" for the longevity of the vehicle. I may put 2000 miles on my car a year, I personally will probably never see the long term related issues heard of.
