Who got 275" tire in the back
Ok since mid of April I try to understand.
I buy a kit of forgestar cf5v for the c63 pack and buy the RE11 Bridgestone as a 275-30-19 on the rear, wich I read many user it work... But mine not, it bend on my fender.
So I order a pss Michelin 275-19-30 ..... Everybody told me it because of the RE11 tire but still freaking bend in my fender to??? WTF
So I buy a 265 invo as I buy last year ... Dawn That was not my goal for this year
I pass 2 month to try to figure my problem and spend over 4000$ include my wheel and no track day
Could people here share there experience with the same layout with 275"
Thank you

Are you lowered? Springs or coilovers?
What are the offsets on your Forgestars?
Need both of those to solve your issue.
Lowered on springs, 10.5'' wide wheel, +52? offset. I had 275's no problem.

I didn't touch anything I buy my wheel true euro charge and ask for the offset since I get them but still no answer.
The spring I still the same as I buy the car new.
I know the wheel are 19 x 10 and I was thinking the same an offset of 52+

If you are on a stock suspension then I don't think you are rubbing.
There just has to be something else going on.
Take a picture of the gap between your rear fender and tire. Get a side view that shows us clearly what kind of gap you're looking at.

It can be many things.
If the wheels came from Eurocharged I would like to say they have the right sizes/offsets.
Maybe blown struts are causing the car to have more travel and therefore you rub. Is the car sort of bouncy after you go over a bump until the road smooths out?

I do, CF5Vs with Michelin PSS and H&R springs. The stats:
Front Size: 19x8.5
Rear Size: 19x10
Offset: Front +40 , Rear +52
This is my street set up only. There is occasional rubbing with full tank, speed bumps and exit ramps taken too fast. I may deal with this at some point, but works for me now.

Forgestar CF10 19 x 10 - 52 offset
Michelin Pilot Super sports 275 30 19
Stock suspension.
General rumnning around no rub.
Fully loaded can get the tiniest of rubs on a bump/hole. So minor I have never seen any sign of what is rubbing - no wear marks.

I used to run PSS 275 30 R19 et 48 with H&R springs = occasional rubbing on bumps or dips at high speed. Since I installed and set my kwV3 I do not rubb. So I'm surprised your are rubbing on OEM suspension! You have something else wrong going on or not the offsets you think you have.

Everyone spends all this money on wider wheels and tires to control the rear end. So you go from 255 to 275 and pick up less then 10% width and add lots of unsprung rotational mass. The better solution is stick with your stock wheel and tires and put in a Quafe LSD. You effectively double your rear contact patch, keep your unsprung rotational mass the same, at substantially less cost, and you don't have to worry about rubbing.

But my HRES are lighter, Don't crack ( like std 19s ) so the unsprung rotational mass is down, And a Quaife Diff is not cheap so I don't see how its can be at a substantially less cost, Also, if you over tyre your std wheel you can ( I believe ) get rubbing? unless I have got it wrong?

To get better grip, something will have to give, wet handling, life of the tire, etc. Pick your poison.

Are you 100% positive that suspension is stock? Did you buy the car new or used?
If you're rubbing on hard corners and bumps only then you're in the same boat as many others.
My rear wheel was 10.5'' so it gave the 275 a little bit of a stretch so I didn't have any issues

Well I but it as a pre-owne car so I watch beside the car and it look the same, perhaps it was a old couple who had the car before.
Purple Heart did you have a pic of your setup in the back ?

Mine sat lower than yours, but the tire didn't come out as far...
As some members with Forgestars have mentioned, they generally do not rub when they are just running around. Hard turns and bumps cause it. I think you should expect this as long as you're on that wheel and tire setup.
If I were you, I'd just put some 265's on there and call it a day. You wont risk any fender damage and you really won't lose any noticeable traction when it comes to driving it how you normally drive.
Here is my setup though
The slight angle the tire has is called stretch. My wheels were 10.5 wide. That extra half inch lead them to having that slight stretch on the tire. This is why I wouldn't rub. The ONLY time I rubbed was having 5 people + luggage + being on a shoulder that was sloped.

^ Multispokes, OEM offset, OEM suspension... You shouldn't be rubbing anyway.
OP has 10's in the back, those are 9.5's I believe and a much more conservative offset. They do look shmexy.

very true , shouldnt rub, i have a friend fit 265 on his brabus rims , which i think may have almost the same offset as the forgestars, looking at it, am sure 275 would rub like u said when flogged or a hard turn on those rims, the brabus is 9.5

While part of it depends on the width it mostly comes down to offset.
I doubt Brabus is putting wheels out there that will make people rub though.
