Changing Chrome badges to black?
I'm sure someone has done it here. I want to blackened the chrome lettering on the back of my white C63.
What would be the best way to do it?

Plastidip would be your cheapest, quickest and reversible option.
You might not like the matte finish which in this case you could opt for getting them painted.
I dipped mine.

eBay is also good. They even have metal ones. I have a metal one from eBay.

I diped mine without taking them off. (**** about placement)

Plasti Dip is the easiest way, and you can take it off once you get bored of it.
Try to find someone local doing it as their business. That way they are good at it.

After watching a couple of videos I went to town on the old Taco today.
Before...
After
My only advice is to mask the crap out of the area. I got a fair amount of overspray on the door. It wiped off easily enough with a micro fiber towel.
Next week Im doing the C63.

Looks good - paint or plastidip? And yes, you should always mask a couple of feet when spraying anything as that stuff flies far far far...

You did a very good job. Excellent!

It was pretty easy all things considered. Im looking forward to tackling the car next weeked. Im a little nervous about the trunk strip but other than that I dont expect any issues.

I bought the plastidip. Will tackle it this week probably.
How hard it is to peel around the letters and Mercedes star? I'm afraid that the plastidip "on" the letters will just come off with plastidip that is off them... If that makes any sense.
