Renntech headers

Hi guys
Wondering why those Renntech long-tube headers are so expensive? Is that just because they are soooo much better than the others?

Its because they are renntech. Anything renntech will cost more just because of the name. Its the same reason the tune costs more than competitors.

I feel a little regret for the Renntech tune I have, $2250 with only 517hp... Should get something cheaper with more hp.

lol! It is not all about numbers for tune. It is all about longevity. For sure you pay premium for Renntech but rest assure your tune will be there in the long run. any tuners can get big numbers out of an engine but a good product means reliability too. I got no affiliation with them (I just bought my car with the tune already in) but I'm just satisfied so far.
Back on the OP Renntech LTH are not real LTH. They are some type of shorties. Again you pay for the brand and the amount of R&D involved in the design of that product.

Thanks. I bought them because my dealership is an Renntech dealer, they said it will not affect my warranty. It's good. Lol

Want to have more hp with out the blower, any suggestions? Thanks.

Well none modifications do not void warranty. Some dealers might be mod friendly but if an issue appears to be caused by your tune or over aftermarket part your warranty will be void no matter if it is Renntech or else.
The fact that some dealers are Renntech distributors means how reliable and unlikely you'll have issue with their products.
Now if you want to stay that route and make more power Renntech headers are your choice. If you don't mind I would say get MBH, MHP or Agency power headers.

Yeah, renntech is not to MB what Dinan is to BMW. Some MB dealers will honor your warranty if you have renntech stuff but if something big happens (like headbolts) they may not be the ones calling the shots on warranty work, leaving you with the bill.

Just a heads up,

Renntech does indeed have Long Tube Headers. They have 2 versions, the Shorties / log style and the Long tubes.
