Why so many C63s for sale on the forum?
On the first page of the Mercedes For sale sub-form there are 8 C63s for sale! Just curious why people are unloading them, jumping to something bigger like an E/CLS/S?

The C63 forum is one of the most active on MBWorld, and C63 owners tend to be more hands-on than other Mercedes owners so I'm not surprised there are more C63 for sale.

A lot of people who buy the C63 are also car hoppers. They go from sports car to sports car every few years looking for new thrills. As the loan nears its ends (4-5 years), they'll dump for a new car to mod/tune/play with.

Economies of scale, the C63 is the most successful AMG to date. Thus you will see more for sale etc.

The problem I find is that the C63 is at or near the top of the price range I'm willing to pay for a car. As a consequence, I have to step down for a couple of years (think 335i Coupe) and then back into a 63 just to feel the thrill again. Going from one 63 to another doesn't deliver the jolt I'm seeking.

I resemble that remark.

W205's, in my opinion, are aesthetically horrid. I have one in my complex and it likes to park next to me and everyday I think "dear jesus..... someone save this car"

This is just my understanding from word of mouth and from experiences.

Well, that's a tough question. Lots of dealerships will good-will the fix if they fail. I have a 2010 that is in the affected range, I drive her hard as **** (only a weekend driver) and haven't had any problems. Some cars have them fail, others don't. It doesn't seem to be universal.
