Just picked up the car a couple weeks ago and I couldn't be happier. This is my first Mercedes and I'm loving this thing. I washed, clayed, and waxed it today. I'll be doing a full paint correction to get rid of all the swirls in the paint within the next few weeks. On to the pics...

Thanks! I'm planning to keep the mods pretty light for now, tint, arkym front lip and diffuser, maybe a resonator delete. The other car is a 2001 Mustang Bullitt, it's vinyl wrapped in a matte metallic green, I thought it was something different. I'm actually looking to sell it now since the wife is about 6 months pregnant lol

Congrats! Nice ride. What are you planning on using for the correction? I did one this winter and it took me 45 hrs start to finish.

I've actually got a few paint chips to take care of first though. I've heard good things about Dr. Color Chip...
Thanks for the kind words everybody!

Well I'll do the typical wash and clay bar to start, then break out the DA and go at it. I have several grades of XMT compound, so I'll start with the lightest one and work my way up until I find the right one. Pinnacle polish after that, then top it off with 2 coats of Collinite 845.

be prepared for a lot of work on the correction, this part is really hard and has a ceramic coating from the factory.
if you can believe the internet, the MB factory uses menzerna polish.
I've got a white c63 sedan as well and in the right light you can see the swirls but its harder to spot than a darker color.
I love colonite 845, its cheap and does a great job and lasts months as apposed to weeks.
curious to see how you find the Dr. Color chip, i've got a couple area's I'd like to touch up that someone before me did but not very well

Also,
I wasn't a fan of Dr. Colorchip. It didn't quite match and on some of the smaller chips, it wouldn't stick very well. And then when I did the full correction (months after using Dr. Colorchip), it came off and started to clog my microfiber pads. I would rather use normal touchup, some fine sandpaper, and do it the old school way.
Good luck and have fun! The ceramic paint is a real b!tch.

Congrats!!
This reminds me of my previous sedan which was white as well. I would say you have a 2010/11. You will enjoy it particularly that barking exhaust at cold start or wot!
