C63 Matt Black, Satin Black, Flat Black?
Hello, I have a 2015 C63 AMG (W204). I got this a few months ago, and I have been considering wrappint it. I looked at this picture and I wanted help to decide, I want the same details and is in the picture. Correct me if i am wrong, Matt Black with gloss black accents (grill, etc).
It is my first car and I want advice in wrapping it and the colors and what do you think. Thank you!!

Would you be wrapping it yourself or taking it somewhere? I don't have any personal experience about wrapping a whole car, only trim pieces. Satin black some say looks better / more natural than matte or textured black types.
What colors were you thinking about? Are you trying to make it stand out and be unique or more of just trying to stylize?
Also what color is the car currently?

A 2015 C63 for your first car. Wow, took me 20 years of hard work after leaving university to be able to afford one !!
On the wrap front Matt black will stand out and get noticed more but is more difficult to keep it looking that way.
Satin black is a more subtle and easier to clean option. If it was me I would go for the Matt even with the diabolical English weather.

I did a reverse search on that image and saw that it is matte black (posted link below). They make matte products to help with cleaning/maintaining the look (dr. beasley, chemical guys, swissvax). Though as -ian said, it is a bit more maintenance for matte paint.
I have matte black wheels and use Chemical guys meticulous matte auto wash & matte detailer/spray, they are amazing and they don't affect the matte appearance.

I think the matte/satin/flat is too played out in BLACK. Go for a unique color, something different. I get so many compliments on my car in the Matte Gunmetal Metallic, because it's a unique color.
Go for something a bit different, maybe a matte metallic dark or even bright blue, or a matte bronze/copper. Something subtle but unique.

I saw a 507 this weekend that had a clear matte wrap on it. It was sick. I'm thinking of doing the same, since I'm already black. I'm sure they make matte protective film - same thing.
The car is gloss black. I like the design that I sent and I think its pretty unique and a good combination of types of black. I want to know if that is Matt Black or satin black. And of course i would be taking it to a wrapping place. I just wonder if it would look like that because I see a lot of matt black cars that just look horrible.

Considering I have blacked out every bit of my chrome trim this isn't my cup of tea. However I'm guessing some people will love it !!
This however is more my style.

Wraps can be done in essentially any color. 3M, Helix and others make great vinyl options. OP if you're in So cal would be happy to help you you get this done.
