Picked Up My First BS
I can't lie, this is actually my first Benz, lol! I've had a few different cars in the past. Everything from a R8 V10, 996 TT with an EVOMs 660 Kit, Jeep SRT's, SC'd S5, and a Range Rover Sport SC'd.
Initial reactions, this is by far my favorite car of the bunch.
Yeah, the R8 was an epic car. It was somewhat of a daily driver but honestly, if you had golf clubs, you couldn't have another person in the car. I LOVED the sound and power from that thing though, especially after putting the Akrapovic exhaust on it.
The 996TT was awesome, it had more power than I knew what to do with. I made a few modern updates, touch screen, nav, bluetooth, backup camera, etc. But at the end of the day it was to much of a beast to have fun daily driving for the type of driving I do.
The Jeep SRT's and RRS SC'd were both fun SUV's, just not something I want in a daily driver.
Now the BS, it's perfect for the type of driving I do. The sound is epic, the handling is fantastic, the feel of the car overall is awesome. Yeah, it rides a bit harsh, so I can see it not being for some guys but hard riding suspension has never been a worry for me.
Anyways, wanted to make an intro since I never really have.
Cheers!

Welcome to the forum! Those aero bits look really good and the color is hot.
Interesting to hear someone coming from an R8 praising the MB even more haha.

Congrats, I have your twin. This is still one of my favorite cars to drive, it's simply fantastic. (Aside from the embarrassing turning radius) have fun putting those miles on her

MBWorld Fanatic!
Congrats on the new car, she is a beauty in that color!
Can someone car to explain why the turning radius is so bad on that car? Lol

Thanks fellas!
Yeah, the turn radius is pretty terrible...haha. But, if that's my biggest complaint, I'll consider it an epic win!
Someone asked where I got it from, there's a local MB dealer here in MN called Sears Imports, that's where she's from. It's funny, they had a new 507 edition that I saw prior to going into the show room. I was really excited about that...then I went into the showroom....the rest is history, lol.
Ooh and don't get me wrong about the R8, I LOVED that thing, especially with the Akrapovic exhaust. Driving through downtown hearing that thing echoing was almost as fun as actually driving it hard, lol!
I'll get more pics coming asap!
