Traded my C63 507 Coupe for an E63 Wagon!!
Well, I pulled the trigger on Friday and as the title states traded my 507 coupe for a 2016 E63s wagon. With temps already dipping below freezing and an expectant wife, the C63 wasn't going to get much use. E wagon is going to be a much better fit.
The exhaust sound is almost if not better than the C63. I think some of this is due to it being a wagon, and the sound really echos from the rear. . . It's sort of like my C did when the seats were down.
The E is a much more stable with the combination of 255/285 tires and 4-matic. No more fishtailing around turns has it's benefits and drawbacks. The C didn't hide that it was a beast, while this is a bit more understated (as understated as a 577hp wagon can be). The E interior is very nice with CF trim, artico dash, alcantara/Dinamica headliner, active/massaging driver seat, rear entertainment. . . however that 507 interior was really special too.
Performance wise I've not really pushed it since I'm in the break-in period and my wife has been with me or drive a good bit of the time as well. I'm used to the E platform, so there isn't much of a learning curve with respect to weight or size. It's not as tossable as the C, but the C always felt like it could break loose at any moment so perhaps that not a bad thing (especially for a family wagon).
Mods planned - tint, debadge, perhaps wrapping some chrome bits, maybe some CF mirrors, infant car seat.

Didn't get any takers on the 507 even at $60K? That hurts my feelings.

Thanks for all the replies.
No takers at $60k for the 507 that would have been nice. Ended up taking less, but adding in the tax benefits, and the refund of the pre-paid maintance...well it was still well short of that.
I might tune it mostly if I can get a tune to make the transmission to stay in a lower gear in S or S+ without defaulting to fully auto after 30 seconds. My E550 and C63 both stay in in a selected or lower gear even in C if I downshifted to it, this stays for 30sec and then starts up-shifting again argg. It's my only complaint I guess that's what M mode is for.
This forum has lots of action and knowledgeable members so I'm sure to be checking it out almost as frequently as I did before. It's not like I'll be hanging out at bimmerfest or anything.

How do the two cars differ in terms of feel? Is the steering feel softer or less direct or sharp? I am guessing suspension is a good bit softer? Which felt more planted?
Congrats on new ride! I am asking the questions cause I am thinking myself!
