Pre purchase help
I need help with the purchase of a C63.
I do like the headlights change in 2012 and up but off course the prices are higher.
From what I can find, the engines are the same, so no difference there.
Can someone advise the pros and cons of 2012 up and 2012 before and why would one choose over the other?
Also, packages:
What is a good package to have and what is not really needed and expensive to replace later?
and finally:
What are typical problems on these cars to look when one buys it used?
Greatly appreciate the help.
note:
There will be mods done to i, I always do

^ No. They still made 2015 coupes with the m156. The sedans changed.

If money isn't critical, the 2012+ is a nicer car. If budget is tight, the depreciated price of the earlier versions makes them a hell of a lot of car for the price.
In either case, the headlight package is a must-have.

. . . . except for a couple exterior cosmetic items (headlights, taillights, fog lights, mirrors) and a few other little things like updated dash, better transmission and no head bolt concerns. Did I miss anything, guys?
