How Often to Clean Dry Air Filters?
25k miles?
I have Weistec Dry Filters in about two years and 25k+ miles...
just rinse and air dry? mild soap or are air filter cleaners the way to go (or just bs mild cleanser in a bottle?)

For these filters, should I use a "Synthetic" Cleaner Spray? ... as opposed to a Cleaner/Degreaser which I think is used for oil filters?

I check them every 6 months and when they start to look grubby I change them. Usually about every 2-3 yr which in my case is about 18000 mi. I typically can buy Mann or Mahle for around $35 CDN for 2.
aFe runs around $200 plus tax for 2 so say $224 CDN. I would have to run 6-7 change cycles to recover the cost. Do they really wash clean and how long do they take to dry? Are there stats to tell us just how much the improve performance?
