2005 CL65 Cooling fan

Hope everyone is enjoying their cars. I have lame question so here goes.
As far as the main engine cooling fan is concerned, is it the normal electric motor on fan style or the ones with divorced electric motors run using a small belt ? Just found a new belt driven style I can get for $20 bucks.

Almost certainly direct drive only. Belt drive was for some early models only.

Take a close look - is there a power rating? Mine was 850W, and when I replaced it, I got one from an S320CDI, which is common here.

Thanks
I was too lazy to look I'm ashamed to say !!!!
The belt system looked flexible in some ways along with it being cool.

My car is running well but I think I have a sticky boost solenoid or ? After heat soak watching my boost gauge go from zero to normal snapping the car forward. boost delays and snaps on like a rocket. Does it once or twice and is fine until another heat soak event.
