2005 CL65
P203F / P2033 Autel 708 scanner came up with these codes, My CEL isn't on. Car runs fine. My scanner explains it loosely as the two sensor connected to the air cleaner housings aren't seeing proper pressures, The MAP sensor is also part of the calculation. I'm not having much luck finding out much else.

Ya a bit unusual ?

p2033 -comparison of the pressures between components b28/6 (pressure sensor upstream of throttle valve), B28/7 (pressure sensor downstream of throttle valve) and sensor "ambient pressure" in control module n3/10 (me-sfi {ME} control unit). The ambient pressure is measured by a pressure sensor in control module n3/10.

Here's a pic of the sensors involved, it seems the two air cleaner housing mounted sensors measure pressure up stream. Reading online, it seems if they are out of range of each-other the power output of the engine will be lowered.A restricted air filter could be one cause. I'm still looking for more info. one thing to note is my car has never made 20 lbs of boost since the day I got it. I think the max is around 16 lbs but its been a while since I've really look close at this number.

FIXED !!!

P203F / P2033

So I had this code in the power-train but it DIDN'T TURN ON THE CEL. It seems the two sensors one in each of the air cleaner housings measure pressure and the MAP sensor does the same. The 3 sensor signals are then sent to the main power train PCM. The PROGRAMING looks for a certain value between all 3 and if it sees something out of bounds it sets this code as it were. Reading more in to the effects of setting this type of code the PCM will adjust the max boost to a lower value. My car has never seen 20 psi of boost at best i get 15 or less. I haven't nailed the throttle as yet but I will and maybe I'll get the correct max amount.

In the picture, the sensor marked "MAP sensor" is actually the turbo outlet sensor, upstream of the throttle. This is used to check for blocked air filters and charge pipe leaks.

The actual MAP sensor is screwed directly to the top of the inlet manifold, kind of under and behind the ignition controller.

If you have a leak, you will probably notice at full throttle / full boost, and the engine will misfire and clamp down aggressively.

Mine did (and showed a CEL immediately). so I fitted T-bolt clamps on the rubber hoses at the charge cooler inlets, and the problem went away.

Yep your right ! My car set the code Key on engine off, so the pcm saw the problem before start up. Thanks for setting me straight, these engines are so cool !
