Magnaflow exhaust with dual tips....pics and video
I bought a Magnaflow muffler and some stainless steel bends. These cars suck for space to run the exhaust to the passenger side. It definitely looks much better with duals out the back though.
Here is the muffler I used:
Here are the tips:
Muffler and tips:
I had to cut the tips short to help them fit:
Here it is mocked up. I forgot to take pics after cleaning and painting it and installing it for good:

Yeah, the muffler wasn't too spendy. The stainless steel bends add up quick though. Someone needs to come out with a kit for the duals and include a template for the bumper. It would definitely make it easier.

Looks great just what I had in mind. Question why is there so many welds on the pipe crossing to the passenger side? Isn't that just one piece to the other tip.

It's hard to tell from the picture, but those are where it changes angles very slightly. The pipe kind of curves up and back into the bumper.

Sounds great...I'm very jealous.
But the tip is not very symmetrical on the passenger side. Your muffler guy should fix that for you. All he has to do is cut and reattach with care to make it nice and strait.

Haha, I'm my muffler guy. I do need to tip that side out a tiny bit. I finished it up at 4:30am and had no motivation to change it at that point.

Very nice. Got to be the best sounding 430 I have heard. I will be doing this sometime this week. What tips did you get?
How hard was it to cut the bumper? Is it noticeable?

how long ago have you had that video?
I remember seeing that same video long time ago, like a few months back.
by the way, sounds great.
