What if???

Which of these would I use if I wanted to just keep the tips on the same side and just replace the muffler?

CLK55 AMG W208 Rear Quad Exhaust

Very Nice Bro! I am making my 2001 CLK55 AMG into a quad exhaust system too. I just bought a diffuser from VIS racing that sells quad exhaust diffuser for the CLK w208 AMG bumper style(must be an AMG bumper). How loud is your muffler or is it quiet like the orginally amg muffler? Your right someone needs to make a template for the CLK w208 style cars because especially for the AMG W208 they should have made them as a quad exhaust system. I just bought this from my friend on here.

CLK55 AMG
I sold the 430 and bought a CLK55 and did the same dual tip conversion on it. It does not make the car real loud. You won't even notice it being much louder inside the car, but outside it sounds really good! On my CLK55 I removed the resonators as well just to make it a little louder.

CLK55 AMG W208 Quad Exahust with Diffuser

Hey Boosted9603,

Check out www.ebay.de and type in the search menu type in CLK W208 Duplex and tons of quad systems for a clk W208 platform. They have some really nice quad set up already for our vehcile. I am thinking about getting one for my clk55 amg. Here's a picture of my quad system for my car. I don't like the tips out out a bit but overall it looks nice. I had quad system put in just like yours. Here are some pictures of my car.

Could you list your steps as to how you cut the bumper to be perfect like the other side?
That is the only thing holding me back right now... Afraid whoever cuts it is going to butcher the bumper.
