its actually a good thing hes leaving MB... he is a typical BMW owner... have driven many BMW's but none without major issues. He's a pathetic guy that is proud to say he didn't insult any other car but his own, and 3 posts later starts bagging our cars individually... loser first class

Oh, and since we are talking about a BMW driver here...I embarrassed my friend in the 335i sedan again today on the way to work. Honestly, I am beginning to think he can't drive the thing. That car should be a good match for my CLK550. Maybe on a straight line form a dead stop he'd win, but we usually end up on a left turn from a two-lane onto a nice wide divided 4-lane. Today he had a huge head start (he was in front at the light, with two cars between us making the turn onto the 4-lane). I was right at 100mph when I passed him and he was not keeping up at all. And I know he saw me and floored it because I saw the big puff of smoke from his exhaust pipes.

Guys, I think you are missing the humor here. Who really would talk in earnest about a trophy wife with a spray tan and being a rich man parking his cars in the garage? C-A-T-S may be insulting our CLK's, but I see it as all in fun. The whole BMW vs. MBZ thing is more like a couple of guys busting chops over their college football teams. I've been laughing all the way through this.
Yeah, I agree with Rudeney here.
What I see here is someone that has a very good sense of humor without having an angry tone. I was imagining C-A-T-S having his own Improv Show on this board. Everyone has their own experience and I enjoy listening to others that don't necessarily have the same views.
But I do agree with him on the leather. I've owned a BMW Z3 for many years and still own my BMW X5 that I bought new (I do prefer the Nappa leather; as they feel and look better than my CLK500).
This guy is the perfect storm for trolling.
1. Step 1, show up at a competitors forum with "legit" questions like, "why are these cars such pieces of ****".
2. Keep your cool and defend that you mean no animosity but you are honestly curious and want to know why their product is so terrible.
3. Offer empathy for them purchasing and owning such a terrible product.
4. Diabolically laugh to oneself.
5. Deflect numerous logical arguments thrown at you, counter argue against less logical arguments with even less logical points.
6. Return to forum to provide backhanded compliments, "im proud of you for not worrying about what others think"
7. Deny you even understand what trolling is
8. Keep the troll alive

I STFF'ed "replace tail lights diy" and this was one of only 3 threads that came up. While none had any advice on how to replace my tail lights, this was the most entertaining!

BMW makes nice cars. They drive and perform well, but they don't hold up over time. My 3-year-old X3 was already showing signs of wear that my 10+ year old C240 hasn't yet.
Oh, and Mr. Wealthy Man, you need to get that cracked driveway fixed. Better yet, do it in brick instead of concrete. And you might want to look into a good lawn service. I'd be totally embarrassed to park my cars in those deplorable conditions!

I didn't notice how old this thread was at first, it had us rolling on the floor laughing for a couple pages. Thank you all for the laughs. I needed that.
It was all new to me.

Lmao!!! Oh man this really was good entertainment right before going to bed to start my friday. Jeez what a character. I hope this car got totaled. It deserves to go off to a better place than with this guy's wife. She's destroyed that beautiful car
