Steering Angle Sensor
I read about re-sync steering angle sensor. Is this something we should do from time-to-time?
The procedure is to turn the steering wheel from one end to the other end a few times?

You should only need to reset the SAS if you are getting spurious ESP messages.

Steering Angle Sensor issue for 2007 E350.
I had the ESP non-functional message. Took it to the dealer. He is saying that the problem is a Steering Angle Sensor issue, Code:9334. Dealer is quoting $641.67 for repairs.
I just got some $1200.00 worth of service and repairs (cam shaft magnet sensors) done in April and now suddenly with less than 3K miles driven, another issue. The dealer charges me $125 for diagnostics everytime. Any suggestions???

Im curious what everyone means by turning the wheel lock to lock. When you have the car on, the steering wheel doesn't lock? How would you know if this procedure is done properly or does one just assume?

By lock to lock then meant turning the wheel completely to the left until it "locks" or reaches its maximum, then the other "lock" would be turning your steering wheel to the right until it also reaches its maximum. that would be a lock to lock
